T-Mobile announced this ahead of Quibi launching which is on April 6. Quibi will offer a ton of original scripted, unscripted, and daily news shows. Each episode will only be 10 minutes in length or less. The idea is that consumers on the go with their smartphones or tablets will watch these brief episodes during a quick break in the day. The service will launch with over 50 shows, with more being added each week.
T-Mobile has announced that the service will be free to its wireless customers however it’s free just for those who pay for two or more lines at a carrier. T-Mobile small business customers with up to 12 lines can get free Quibi access as well. The carrier is offering access to the ad-based Quibi tier, which normally costs $4.99 a month. There’s also a tier with no ads for $9.99 a month.
How to get it free without T-Mobile?
By far the easiest way to get Quibi for free. Just go to the service’s official web site and type in your email address where directed on the front page. You should get an email in a few minutes describing how to get 90 days for free.
Basically, if you download either the iOS or Android Quibi app and sign up for the service before April 20, you will get your 90-day free trial. There’s no word yet on if the trial is for the ad-free or ad-based subscription tier. Still, offering a three-month free trial is certainly a good way to get people to try Quibi out.
