Release date and availability
Even though it was announced on November 13, the pre-orders are going to start on December 26th. The release date will be in January 2020 in the US. The Razr will be exclusive to Verizon, with an offer of $62.49/month payment plan for 24 months.
For Europe, there was no date confirmed from Motorola but it should be at some point in December. They also will be releasing it in Australia, Asia, and South America at some point in the future.
The 2019 version of the Razr looks just like its predecessor. Apart from the large foldable display that you can see when you open it up. Also, the secondary display is even bigger now and more useful.
Motorola worked with Lenovo to make the hinge. It uses a complicated mechanism of multiple hinges and sliding plates to fold and unfold the phone. And it does live up to their promise, the phone folds completely flat with no visible creases.Save 50% on select product(s) with promo code 50E8IF2O on Amazon.com
